Blue Hole, officially Island Gully Falls, is a series of waterfalls and deep blue-green pools tucked in the forest about 15 minutes inland from Ocho Rios. It's less developed than Dunn's River, which is exactly why people love it.
Local guides walk you up the falls, point out the best jumps (from a few feet to around 20 feet), and help with the rope swing. Jumping is always optional — the pools are just as good for a swim.
The road up is narrow and winding, so a private driver who knows the route makes the trip far easier than self-driving.
