The Martha Brae River winds through the Trelawny countryside just outside Falmouth. At the Rafting Village you board a hand-built bamboo raft for two, steered by a licensed raft captain who shares stories about the river and its legends.
The ride covers about three miles over roughly an hour and a half. It's peaceful rather than whitewater — perfect for couples, families, and anyone who wants to slow down. Captains usually stop so you can swim.
Being close to Montego Bay and Falmouth pier makes it one of the easiest half-day excursions on the island.
